ARROgram #40
ICLC Breast Survey
November 18, 2005
Dear Resident,
International Core Literature Consensus in conjunction with the Association of Residents in Radiation Oncology (ARRO) Board is investigating how residents are taught during their first years.
We would appreciate it if you could spend a few minutes of your time filling in the attached survey. If the completed survey is returned to us within two weeks, we will mail you a free CD containing pdf files of the100 most important papers in breast oncology.
There has been almost no research into this important topic. In particular, we are interested in how you have been taught in breast oncology, since this is one of the largest topics in oncology, with the most extensive literature.
We are planning to survey residents in radiation and medical oncology in the USA and Europe. We are currently developing a consensus curriculum in breast oncology, which we hope will improve teaching for future trainees during their first rotations through a breast cancer service.
If you would like to receive the free CD, please include your name and address in your e-mail reply to stevens@astro.org in addition to the completed attached survey. If you have any additional questions please email ICLC@addenbrookes.nhs.uk.
This information will not be passed on to any third parties, and the survey will remain anonymous. If you'd prefer, you can print the attached form and complete on paper, and return to
