Current Residency Program Openings

 

PGY-4 Opening, University of California, Davis

The Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of California, Davis has an unexpected opening and is currently accepting applications for a PGY 4-level radiation oncology resident to start in July 2009. This is a fully-accredited ACGME residency program affiliated with an NCI-designed cancer center located in beautiful Sacramento, Calif. The department is equipped with three linear accelerators, including a Tomotherapy unit, and is a leader in IGRT/IMRT technology. An active gamma knife and brachytherapy program exists, as well as a growing SBRT practice. Opportunities for clinical, physics, and biology research exist for the motivated individual. Qualified candidates will have completed two years of radiation oncology training, in good standing, in any approved ACGME program. PGY-2 Opening, University of California, Davis

The Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of California, Davis, has a PGY-2 opening beginning July 2009. This is a fully-accredited four-year ACGME residency program is affiliated with a National Cancer Institute-designed cancer center located in beautiful Sacramento, Calif.The department is equipped with three linear accelerators, including a Tomotherapy unit, and is a leader in IGRT/IMRT technology. An active Gamma Knife and brachytherapy program exists, as well as a growing SBRT practice. Opportunities for clinical, physics and biology research exist for the motivated individual. Qualified candidates will have completed at least one year of post-graduate training in good standing in any approved ACGME program.
